Tippy
Tippy is not the quiet observer type at all, he’s the main character who insists on narrating the whole scene.
Tippy is a big boy in every sense of the word — a solid 8kg of personality, opinions, and very strong preferences. And he absolutely knows how to make his presence felt. If you’re sitting down with a laptop, don’t get too comfortable… because Tippy has already decided that your plans were actually his plans. He will sit on you, around you, across you and if the keyboard is involved, even better.
He’s dramatic in the most entertaining way. Food is a whole performance: no raw meat, thank you very much, only tinned food will do. And if it’s not to his liking, you’ll hear about it. Loudly. Frequently. With commentary. Tippy is very chatty and always answers back like he’s fully part of the conversation, not just listening in.
He doesn’t just walk through a space — he thunders through it. There’s no subtlety to his movement; when Tippy arrives, everyone knows. And if there’s any sort of commotion happening, he’s right there wanting to be involved, like he’s been appointed official supervisor of all household drama.
People are… a bit of a process for him. He’s not instantly won over, but once he decides you’re acceptable, he’ll inch closer until suddenly he’s completely comfortable making himself at home on top of you. Personal space is more of a suggestion than a rule in Tippy’s world.
But underneath all that noise and opinion is a deeply soft, cuddly cat who just wants to be part of everything. He loves comfort, he loves attention, and most of all, he loves being right in the middle of whatever is happening.
Tippy isn’t just “the 8kg cat.” He’s the centre of attention, the commentator, the floor-thumper, the lap-claiming authority… and somehow still incredibly sweet through it all.
