Who We Are :

We’re Kris and Brett, the hands and hearts behind Quiet Paws Creations. Quiet Paws Creations was born from our awareness of the plight of homeless, abandoned street cats in our area. Our work began through simply responding to the ones that crossed our path needing care and support.
Over time, this grew into ongoing rescue work involving trapping, desexing, feeding, and supporting recovery for vulnerable cats, with a focus on reducing suffering and preventing unwanted litters. A key part of our work is Trap–Neuter–Return (TNR). This involves safely trapping homeless/abandoned or stray cats, having them desexed and health-checked, and then returning them to their territory if they are not suited to adoption. Where cats are socialised or able to be rehomed, we work toward finding suitable forever homes. This approach helps reduce suffering, prevents ongoing breeding, and improves the long-term wellbeing of both individual cats and the wider colony.
Brett builds the practical side of things, shelters, cages, catios, and safe setups for trapping and recovery, while also being very much part of the care and connection with the cats. Kris handles feeding, trapping, desexing coordination, rehabilitation support, and documenting their stories, alongside creating canvas and digital art inspired by the cats and the natural world around us.
As pensioners, we’ve often adjusted our own grocery spending to keep the cats fed and cared for. But through Kris’s art and photography, a way was found to help support and sustain this ongoing work.
Quiet Paws Creations is built on a simple belief: every cat deserves safety, care, and the chance for a better life.
….Please Support Our Work…
Quiet Paws Creations is entirely self-funded, supported through our own time, resources, and ongoing effort. Kris has also developed her canvas and digital art as a way to help contribute toward sustaining this work in a more balanced and ongoing way.
If you would like to support what we do, any contribution, large or small, goes directly toward food, trapping and desexing costs, veterinary care, and the materials needed to provide safe shelters and recovery spaces for vulnerable cats.
Your support helps us continue responding to cats in need and reducing suffering in a practical, hands-on way.
Quiet Paws Creations exists because these cats exist, and with support, we can continue to work on a better and less harsh life for them.
